Signum Feteasca Gift

Domenile Sahateni was founded in 2003 by renowned winemaker Aurelia Visinescu and her partner Steve Caceno. The winery has its vineyards located in Dealu Mare, where the soils are rich in clay and the orientation of the hills guarantees the vines a considerable amount of light and water. The wine in question is an exotic varietal of the native Feteasca Regala, whose name means “Royal Maiden”. It is a refreshing and pleasant white, the kind of wine to drink with friends while chatting and without having to compromise on pairings. It is perfect for everyday drinking. When served, it has a beautiful golden color with greenish reflections, plenty of shine and clarity. The aroma reveals yellow and stone fruits, such as mango and peach, complemented by floral touches. On the palate, it is dry, with a light natural sweetness and good structure. In addition to the yellow fruits, it reveals hints of wild flowers. It has good acidity and a very elegant finish reminiscent of apricot. Pairing: Serve alone or with light, fresh snacks and dishes. Splurge on sushi and sashimi combinations, fried fish, delicate pastas with butter and herbs, grilled chicken with salads and various quiches. Enjoy at 8°C in smooth, crystal-clear glasses of a smaller size. The wine is ready to drink, but can still be enjoyed at its peak until the end of 2023.
