Dracula Dominion Merlot DOC

It was from the famous character "Count Dracula" that renowned winemaker Aurélia Visinescu drew inspiration for a creative and exotic approach in the creation of her new collection of labels. Few people know, but the fact is that the character was taken from the life of Prince Vlad Tepes (Vlad III), who was born in 1431 and ruled a large part of the territory that corresponds to present-day Romania. On the outside, a beautiful and mysterious label, on the inside, a divine nectar. This is how we can describe this exotic Romanian Merlot. It is a varietal made with fruits from vineyards located in the favorable region of Dealu Mare, in Romania. During the winemaking process, the wine aged for 9 months in Romanian oak barrels and rested in bottles before being released for sale. When served, it has a clear and bright ruby ​​color with dense tears of good structure. The nose is exuberant, distinct, aromas of black fruits such as plums and blueberries are inviting and notes of sweet spices, such as vanilla, make you want to taste it. without delay. In the mouth it is complex, with fine tannins, good body and clear hints of coconut, certainly a legacy of time spent in contact with Romanian oak. It has great acidity and a rich and persistent aftertaste. Pairing: The perfect example to share with friends at dinners, events and celebrations, as in addition to having a beautiful presentation, it pleases the most diverse palates. Serve alongside tasty dishes such as pastas with ossobuco ragout, mushroom risottos, pork ribs and roast beef with browned potatoes. Enjoy at 18°C ​​in smooth, crystal-clear and large glasses. We recommend prior aeration in a decanter for 25 minutes. The example is ready to drink, but can be enjoyed, still at its peak, until the end of 2025.
