Organoleptic Characteristics and Harmonization
The first written references to wine produced in Bordeaux date back to the 4th century, when the Gallo-Roman poet Ausone wrote poems praising the region's wines - including the one he himself produced. This authenticity is proven in the glass when tasting this great wine. It begins with the delicious aromas of ripe red fruits, tomato leaves, chili peppers, garden herbs and hints of menthol. It continues in the mouth like velvet, well-structured, with firm tannins, juicy acidity and perfect balance. The highlights are the notes of cherry and blackcurrant, followed by hints of pepper and great persistence. Bordeaux is always a special case, although they are the preferred wines of connoisseurs and those with more experience in the world of wine, they are not easy wines and require a well-suited service, such as the glasses to be used, prior aeration in a decanter, which in this example is at least 60 minutes, and the right dishes for pairing, such as meats with sauces, pastas and risottos with rich flavors, and exotic roasted meats. It is impressive how difficult wines like good Bordeaux can be delicious and surprising when the wine is served appropriately. Do as suggested above and delight yourself with yet another beautiful masterpiece.
