Antawara Rosé
Organoleptic Characteristics and Harmonization
Antawara was founded in 2006 by winemaker Jaime Muñoz, who in 2009 joined forces with engineer Pablo Varas. Both have expertise and stand out in the world of wine, including global trade and marketing, as well as winemaking and bottling. They built a state-of-the-art winery and have been improving it every year. Today, the winery, located at the foot of the mountain range, is a reference in the national and international market. Antawara Rosé is an attractive wine, made with Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah grape varieties, hand-picked in the renowned Maipo Valley region. It is a captivating wine, because in addition to being light and tasty, it is the kind of relaxed wine that we always want to have around. With a beautiful light pink color, it is eye-catching and makes us happy when we drink it. It is clear, bright and extremely well made. Unlike other Chilean rosés, this one in particular reveals very delicate characteristics and can be compared to some rosés from the old world. The nose is striking and captivates us with its lovely aromas of red fruits such as strawberries and raspberries. It is mineral, fresh and inviting. On the palate, it is dry and offers immediate pleasure. It contains good acidity, spicy notes, which are interspersed with the delicious fruity flavor and simple floral notes. It delivers a long, tasty finish that invites you to take another sip. Pairing: As it is a relaxed type of wine, it is the perfect wine to drink with friends while chatting. Great for hot days, it pairs well with appetizers and light dishes. Try it with antipasti, cheeses, octopus carpaccio and Japanese food. Also try it with pizzas and various quiches. Enjoy it at 10°C in smooth, crystal-clear, medium-sized glasses, those with a wider bowl that allow more contact with oxygen to better enjoy its aromas and flavors. This wine is ready to drink, but can be enjoyed at its peak until 2023.
