Organoleptic Characteristics and Harmonization

Antawara is known throughout the world for its commercial relations with several countries. Reaching this level was only possible due to the competence of its owners, who have extensive knowledge in international trade, marketing and viticulture. The winery was opened in 2006, but it was in 2019, after several years of work and dedication, that it became famous. The recognition was automatic and today it is among the 20 largest wine exporters in Chile. Antawara Merlot is a fantastic varietal. With its beautiful characteristics, it will certainly be on your list of “favorite wines for everyday use”. The wine is so well made that it surprises and leaves doubts as to whether we are drinking a simple varietal without wood or something much superior. Made with 100% Merlot, harvested and selected manually, it stands out for its great structure and smoothness. It has a beautiful ruby color, almost purple, with great brightness and clarity, which proves the hygiene in production. The olfactory notes are intense and marked by milk chocolate, vanilla and fruits such as delicious plums and cherries. In the mouth it is extremely tasty, the olfactory notes are confirmed and delivers silky tannins wrapped in generous acidity well integrated into the whole. The finish is warm and pleasant. Pairing: You know that wine that we want to open to relax after a day of work? This is the wine! And the best part is that it can be drunk alone or accompanied by a variety of dishes. Try it with cheeses, cold cuts, pasta, risottos and white and red meats. Duck rice, lasagnas and various pizzas are great options. Enjoy at 17°C in smooth, crystal clear and medium-sized glasses. The wine is ready to drink, but can be enjoyed at its peak until the end of 2024.
