Selecting fruit from some of California's finest Cabernet regions, this vintage highlights Sonoma, Napa, Lodi and Mendocino counties.

Composed of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot.

The numbers six, eight, and nine are considered lucky or auspicious in Chinese culture. So, after several trips to the Far East, Curtis McBride and Kent Rasmussen decided to use elements of Chinese numerology to express their ideals of a perfect winery. Thus, in 2008, they founded 689 Cellars.

Before the pair of friends started their own company in the world-famous Napa Valley, McBride spent years selling wines around the world while winemaker Rasmussen produced exceptional wines outside of California. Their desire was to share their happy, prosperous and long-lasting experiences with family, old friends and new ones.

The goal was fully achieved. Today, like the three intertwined numbers on the labels, their fine wines reflect separate elements that are at the same time brought together into a balanced and harmonious whole. And the positive energies contained in the bottles reach all parts of the United States and more than 30 countries.
